Ifedayo Olusegun, the Red Giants prolific striker is officially crowned as the Top Scorer of CIMB Super League 2020 after the tournament organizer, the MFL (Malaysia Football League) confirmed that the last match of the league between UiTM FC and Sabah was canceled.

The Nigerian scored a hat-trick in Selangor's last match this season against Felda United and helped him overtake the top scorer with 12 goals.

With 12 goals in 7 games this season, Ifedayo feels very grateful and thankful to everyone involved. This success also saw him score 24 goals in 21 games for the Red and Yellow squad.

“Thank God for the achievements given. I would also like to thank everyone who helped me at FAS including players, technical crew members, management, employees, and fans," said Ifedayo after being recognized as the top scorer in the Super League.

For the record, Ifedayo Olusegun joined Selangor during the second transfer window in the 2019 season to further strengthen the Red Giants' offensive line at that time.

Since then, he has scored 12 goals in the Super League tournament for two consecutive seasons and helped the Klang Valley giant by scoring 3 hat-tricks to date.
